The writing on the Dead Sea Scrolls is mostly in black or occasionally red ink, and the scrolls themselves are nearly all made of either parchment (animal skin) or an early form of paper called 'papyrus'.The only exception is the scroll numbered 3Q15, which was created out of a combination of copper and tin. Known as the Copper Scroll, this curious document features letters chiselled onto metal - perhaps, as some have theorized, to better withstand the passage of time. One of the most intriguing manuscripts from Qumran, this is a sort of ancient treasure map that lists dozens of gold and silver caches.Using an unconventional vocabulary and odd spelling, it describes 64 underground hiding places that supposedly contain riches buried for safekeeping.9None of these hoards have been recovered, possibly because the Romans pillaged Judea during the first century CE.According to various hypotheses, the treasure belonged to local people, or was rescued from the Second Temple before its destruction or never existed to begin with. Some of the Dead Sea Scrolls have been on interesting journeys. In 1948, a Syrian Orthodox archbishop known as Mar Samuel acquired four of the original seven scrolls from a Jerusalem shoemaker and part-time antiquity dealer, paying less than $100 for them.10He then travelled to the United States and unsuccessfully offered them to a number of universities, including Yale.11Finally, in 1954, he placed an advertisement in the business newspaper The Wall Street Journal - under the category "Miscellaneous Items for Sale" - that read: "Biblical Manuscripts dating back to at least 200 B.C. are for sale. This would be an ideal gift to an educational or religious institution by an individual or group."Fortunately, Israeli archaeologist and statesman Yigael Yadin negotiated their purchase and brought the scrolls back to Jerusalem, where they remain to this day.

Figure 17: Some Memories from Our Various Programs
Fig 17: Through these three different images, we have highlighted some of our diverse activities.
The first image captures a moment from when we organized “EEE Day” at Green University of Bangladesh. One of our members is seen delivering a speech on stage. We arranged the event in a vibrant and engaging manner, which helped build a strong sense of connection among everyone in the department.
The second image is from a conference where we participated in an international event related to Industry 4.0. There, we interacted with experts and gained insights into the application of emerging technologies. Our team members are seen attentively listening to the discussions, making it a valuable learning experience for us.
The third image shows a group photo from a trip we took together as friends. Wearing matching t-shirts, we enjoyed the experience and created lasting memories. These trips play an important role in strengthening our team spirit and relationships.
Figure 18: Preparation for the Eid Gift Distribution Program
Fig 21: With the aim of sharing the joy of Eid-ul-Fitr with everyone, we took a special initiative. This image captures a moment from the preparation phase of our program.
We prepared special “Eid gift bags” containing essential food items for underprivileged families. In the image, our volunteers are seen neatly arranging the bags on a desk in an organized manner. Each bag is labeled with a poster featuring our logo, clearly displaying the title “Eid Gift Distribution”. Banners placed behind and beside the desk present the name of our organization along with relevant details.
This initiative was not just a responsibility for us, but also a source of great joy. We are proud and delighted to bring smiles to the faces of people in our community. It is an integral part of our commitment to social service.
Figure 22: Flood Relief Distribution by Haji Din Mohammad Memorial Foundation

These images capture the essence of our team's dedication and the challenging conditions we faced while serving the affected communities in the Companyganj area of Noakhali.
The first image shows our official banner used during the campaign in Charfokira, symbolizing our mission to stand by the people in distress. In the second photo, our team members are seen wading through waist-deep water, carrying heavy relief bags and using megaphones to coordinate and reach the most isolated families.
The final photo highlights our volunteer team after a long day of field operations. Despite the physical toll, the sense of fulfillment from providing essential food, clean water, and medicine to those in need was our greatest reward. We are honored to have played a part in supporting our community during one of its most difficult times.
